Xiamen, the sunglasses capital of China

In a move that has put competitors in the shade, Xiamen was recently officially awarded the title of “China’s Sunglasses Production Base”, indicating that Xiamen has become the sunglasses capital of China, according to the China National Light Industry Council.
Xiamen has a pivotal position in China’s glasses industrymetal component parts. “After one decade of development, a complete industrial chain has taken shape in Xiamen, with numerous large-scale companies, advanced technologies, and a complete range of articles. Xiamen is well deserving of being rewarded with this title” said an industry insider.
According to statistics, China solar cell the total exports of Xiamen-made sunglasses has accounted for nearly half of the total exports of such products China.
Now, Xiamen-made sunglasses have become the mainstream products in China’s sunglasses market.
Currently, 75% of sunglasses on sale in China are made in Xiamen.
