Sales of Xiamen's commercial housing doubled in first 8 months |

| The total areas of residential houses sold in the first eight months this year in Xiamen reached 3.46 million square meters, and the total sales value reached 27.2 billion RMB, up by 94.3% and 105.5% respectively from the same period of last year, according to Xiamen Statistics Bureau LED Light Strip. The sales of real estate continued rising as a result of macro-control policies, market liquidity surplus and people’s rigid demand for houses. In the first eight months of 2009, the area of commercial residential houses sold was 2.85 million square meters, up by 203%. The area of non-residential houses sold was 608,300 square meters, up by 27.6%. In addition, constructions of some real estate projects, LED recessed light which started during the real estate development peak several years ago, are expected to be completed within the next two years, making the number of completed commercial housing projects increase rapidly. According to statistics, the total area of commercial houses completed in the first eight months stood at 4.47 million square meters, up by 36% from the same period of last year. |
